Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi is the founder and co-director of the non-profit research institute, Quality of Life Research Center (QLRC). The QLRC focuses on the study of “positive psychology.” Positive psychology focuses on human strengths such as optimism, creativity, intrinsic motivation, and responsibility. He has authored many books including Finding Flow: The Psychology of Engagement with Everyday Life.
